Swift chicks getting bigger

I popped in to the school yesterday to see how the swift chicks are doing and took a short video. I think there are three chicks in total and they are certainly thriving. According to Lynda Huxley of Swift Conservation Mayo, they are getting plenty of midges and are growing fast - well that's less midges to pester us poor humans, so a win/win situation!

The checks will probably leave the nest in August so I will keep an eye on them and post any new pics or video clips on this website
