Scór Success!

Darcy Fernandes and our set-dancing group represented Newport NS at the county final of Scór na bpáistí in Tooreen on Saturday 9th of March.

First up was Darcy who faced stiff competition from the Neale NS and Roxboro NS. she didn't prevail this time but she did her school proud all the same.

Once again the set-dancing was the very last competition of the night but once again Newport NS rose to the occasion and didn't let older opposition phase them in the slightest.

They were delighted and excited to lift the cup and receive their medals. The team was Ruby Brady, Robbie Dockery, Eva Malinovskaja, Darcy Fernandes, Abi Connaughton, Max O'Rourke, Oisín Holmes and Alanna Holmes.
