Parade Fundraiser

The committee that organises Newport's popular annual St. Patricks Day Parade are holding a fundraising family walk this weekend to raise funds to help cover the cost of the parade.

The walk will take place on MONDAY 2 MAY, starting at Newport NS at 1pm, walking along the Greenway to Burrishoole Abbey and back. This will be followed by some refreshments in the school hall.

The cost is €5 per person or €10 per family

We hope that families will come out and support the hard work of this committee and secure the town's parade for the future.
