The Cumman na mBunscol Handball games were held in An Sportlann Castlebar two weeks ago. Newport NS fielded 8 players:
U11 Singles Girls: Holly McGee
U11 Doubles Girls: Melanie Fernandes and Caoilin Geraghty
U11 Boys Doubles: Dylan Sheridan and Nathan Moran
U13 Boys Doubles: Caolan Moran and Cillian Murphy
Pictured is Holly who represented Newport NS in the girls under 11’s singles and won Silver. All the players played brilliantly and represented the school and the town so well - we were really proud of them!
