Fifth and Sixth Classes recently travelled to Westport Town Hall to watch the performance of "God Has No Country", the acclaimed one-man show written and performed by Donal Courtney

The play tells the story of Monsignor Hugh O’Flaherty’s war time exploits in Rome.

O’Flaherty was an Irish cleric based in the Vatican who, along with a secret network of noble helpers, was responsible for saving almost 6,500 people from being captured by the Nazis.
