Newport Playground to re-open

Great News... Newport's playground will be re-opened by Michael Ring on Sat 30th March at 1pm. We are all invited along to check out the fantastic new equipment, lovely new paths and safe access to and from the viaduct.

Unfortunately it will not be open for St Patricks Day but isn't it great to have something else to look forward to! Well done to everyone involved, including many parents from the school community who started the whole project off (take a bow Fiona McGee), as well as South West Mayo Development Company, NADDCo and local councillors Brendan Mulroy, Michael Holmes, Christy Hyland and Thereasa McGuire
