Foróige STEAM workshop!
Ms O’Malley’s class were treated to a very interesting and enjoyable workshop on Wednesday 20th February.
We created electric circuits including using each student’s body as a component of the circuit! During the experiment everyone got to play a couple of new musical instruments: a banana and a cup of water!
Next, we coloured in pictures of various objects like hot air balloons, horses, sharks, planes and dinosaurs and using Mixed Reality, we brought our creations to life on the tablet screen!
And for the grand finale, we used batteries, motors and cups to make little robots which battled each other or scribble bots which created artistic masterpieces! We had a great time and the team who delivered it all were helpful and very knowledgeable.
It was fun!
