Some very motivated, talented and innovative sixth class pupils have been dedicating their lunch breaks to prepare and practise for the Scór na nÓg competition that is due to take place in Louisburgh on Friday 24th of November.

The pupils, assisted by Ms Conlon, are entering in the ballad group, solo singing and novelty act categories of the competition.

The pupils are to be particularly commended for devising their own drama to perform as part of the novelty act. In the short play, some fed up Mayo supporters decide to take action and steal the Sam Maguire cup from Dublin player (with Newport connections!), Kevin McManamon!

We are very proud of these very clever children that we have the honour of teaching!

Princess Grace Park Visit

First class enjoyed a Spring Walk to Princess Grace Park last Friday. We are fortunate to have this lovely area to explore and enjoy.
